I <3 Poketo. My entry was inspired by an old little golden book called "The Color Kittens", and the theme of the contest is "before life". It would be rad to win, but I had fun making this anyway!
Was awesome. Totally freaking rad. I had a great time, and loved talking to so many people, and it made me so happy to see so many people really enjoying my silly art! I will be adding some stuff to my Etsy store asap, I need to take a nap and a day off, but I will have things in there soon.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by for making it such an awesome first con for me.
Just in case I have anyone reading my blog beside my mom AND they will be at Wondercon April 1st-3rd in SF, I will be sharing a table in Artist's Alley with the super talented Emil Salim and we will both be selling prints and trying to make friends. Please stop by and say hello! Our table is #AA-161 listed under The Neenerbot Shop. Bring cookies.
Been super busy lately, moved back to California in early December to start a new job at Playdom, and have been all over the place since then. Going to have a table at Wondercon April 1st-3rd, and will be selling some old prints and some NEW ones! These are two of the new ones I will have for sale.
My latest monster, "nerdy, jovial, asparagus loving"
I tried out some ink and watercolor. I haven't worked with either since college, and have never tried using them together. I am really optimistic about the fun I can have with this in the future.
I finally got my Etsy store up and running. I am offering 6 different giclee prints right now, they are signed and numbered, and once they are gone that is it for these puppies. I will be adding more artwork in the future, but I will never do more than one run of any of the art, that way I wont get lazy and just keep reprinting stuff.
